Pruning: Had 3 more pine trees cut down today. Pruned the oldest rosemary about halfway back.

Planting: Made a new lasagna bed and planted in it right away. Put in - Tricyrtis formosana 'Gates of Heaven', Disporum flavens, Euphorbia robbiae, and Selaginella braunii (all from Plant Delights), and transplanted some Lamiastrum and Hosta 'Gold Standard' from elsewhere. This is the second lasagna bed I have made. The first one I did last fall, and the squirrels dug up a lot of the plants I put there. I am hoping that since this one is done in the spring they won't be in the mood to dig in it.

Chores: Deadheaded the last of the daffodils.
