Weather: sunny, but cold and windy (again); we had a bit of sleet/freezing rain/snow Saturday night and Sunday
Wildlife: Got a good look at a Cooper's Hawk this morning. It perched in a tree near the back of the lot for quite a while. The birds scattered right away, but one little squirrel came out to eat under the bird feeder, apparently unaware. The hawk looked at it, but was not very interested. Then a few mourning doves came back and perched in the trees, and the hawk made a lazy attempt to have dove for breakfast. Must not have been hungry as it didn't appear to be trying very hard. Then it flew off into the woods in back, and the other birds returned here.
