More Flowers

We had a nice warm day today for a change, and that brought out a few more flowers. The narcissus that were almost blooming a week ago, just opened today. When I went back to take a close-up picture of them, I found one purple crocus beginning to flower. And I was going to pull out what I thought was a dandelion, only to find that it was a winter aconite instead.

I enjoyed finding your site from a link at Hands in the Dirt. I'm trying to satisfy the desire to get out in the garden by finding some gardening sites like yours.

65 degrees yesterday and today mid twenties (and getting colder) and snow...

We had a bit of snow yesterday too, and some cold temperatures overnight. Bright sunshine today so far, but not going to warm up much, they say.

Oops, I should have clicked your link, Rob, before I replied earlier today. It looks like you're just up the road a ways from here. Those impatiens look awfully cheerful, despite the snow.

I brought them in,with some other plants, late last fall as sort of an experiment.

To tide me over until I can really get out and do some gardening, I'm thinking that maybe I'll blog about some of those plants and maybe do a photo album too.
