Blandy Farm Garden Fair

I postponed today's local plant shopping trip when I learned (through Chile Man's e-mail newsletter) that Blandy Experimental Farm is having a Garden Fair this weekend. I don't know how I've missed this one up until now. Blandy Farm is a place I've always wanted to go anyway, so this is a two-fer. Plant shopping, nature trails, and kettlecorn - what a combination!

I think I remember seing Cabell's Mill mentioned on your blog as the place where people do a lot of outdoor weddings.

As it turns out, that is where I did a wedding today. A very pretty park; nice place for a wedding.

Gee, most weekends we would have been taking our usual walk on the Big Rocky Run trail right past there, but since we went out to the plant sale Saturday we decided to skip the walk.

I've never been inside the building at Cabell's Mill, but we always admire the outside as we walk past.

Next time, I guess!

The plant fair sounded great. Looks like you found lots of great stuff.
