So far, looks like everybody likes the blurry hummingbird picture!
Wow, I guess so - 100%! I'm going to try really hard to get a good picture this weekend. They're humming just a few feet in front of me as I type this, but whenever I get the camera out.......[visualize helpless shrug here]
Hey you have the cool voting thingy. I just saw that Blogger has it in beta and was wondering what I could use it for. Now I know.
Since they're such quick movers it will probably be pure luck in trying to photograph the hummers. Maybe a feeder will keep them still? I wish we had some around but I've not seen a hummingbird this year nor all last year.
Can you take movies with your camera? You could take some videos and post it on Google video or YouTube.
Ki: Blogger has polls now? I need to pay more attention. Mine is from polldaddy.com - you set it up on their site and copy a little javascript snippet into your blog. But maybe it doesn't work with Blogger-hosted blogs?
Good idea about video! My old camera does video and I hadn't thought about it in a long time. There wasn't any YouTube when I got that camera, and I could never find a really good use for the video feature. I think I tried it a couple of times when the camera was new and then forgot all about it.
The rural hummingbirds seem much less afraid of humans than the suburban ones, so I'm hoping for a better chance of getting a good photo here in the country.
