Since squirrels are pretty rare in my neighbourhood, I thought this was really cute. They work so hard, even if they annoy gardeners to no end.
Kate: I have a love-hate relationship with the squirrels. They're kind of cute and it's fun to watch them scurrying around, but then they eat all the bird food, chew off flowers, dig up bulbs, steal tomatoes....
Cute pic for Valentine's Day! Everytime I'm outdoors lately I can hear the females squawk and carry on, so I knew breeding season was well under way. Mine have been creeps at the feeders lately...the snow is too deep, so they can just jump above the baffles... >:( ! That tomato pic is hilarious! I've seen chipmunks steal cherry tomatoes, but never gray squirrels. Furry little jerks, anyway!
