Fructivory in Dryocopus pileatus
Sounds like the title of a very dry scientific paper.
I didn't know that Pileated Woodpeckers like dogwood berries.

Nancy & Gail: Thanks! I was really surprised to see this huge woodpecker clinging to the thin dogwood branches. Almost forgot to grab the camera.
