Can You Guess?
Do you know what this is?
Hint: this next one is the same kind of flower.
I never noticed the beautiful featheriness in the center of these flowers until I took a closeup photo and looked at it on the computer screen.

Is it moss?
Humm! No
Clueless but it's gorgeous! Don't you love how you discover new things about your garden via photography?
BTW very impressed that you had even heard of Split Enz. ;-) On the web you can find many of their songs, many with a videoclip too.
Perennial Hibiscus?~~Dee
Answers tomorrow!
Cosmos?
Is it from a cactus?
All: Nobody correctly guessed the ID, so I posted pictures of the entire flowers here.
omg! That reddish zinnia is gorgeous!! I love all that's going on in the center of it! I'll definitley need to take closer looks at my flowers (as if I didn't take freakishly long looks at the garden regularly already!). Great photos!
