Mystery Tulip setting. It comes up and blooms every year, and in fact, has multiplied. I used to get just one flower. This is a very shady location, surrounded by Azaleas, Vinca minor, and Lunaria. It used to be even shadier back there until we had the tall pine trees cut down a couple of years ago. So I have no idea how it got there, or why it's still there, and the flowers around it clash amazingly (you'd have to work at it to get a worse color combination), but I leave it because it's so unusual.
